Growth arrest and DNA damage-inducible 45 gamma (Gadd45g) is a member of Gadd45 gene family of immunological proteins in mammals. Herein, we identified and characterised Gadd45g from grass carp. The cDNA spans over 1189 bp, with an open reading frame of 480 bp encoding a 159 amino acid protein.
